Collection Assessments

Most often collection assessments are for institutional collections,
but they can also be created for private clients.
A collection assessment consists of inspecting (assessing) the objects in a collection collated into a report discussing the various condition issues of each object or a group of objects.  It may or may not include estimates for all the items.

We have done collection assessments for many or all of the items in the collections listed under our institutional clients, and while we cannot share them with the general public, we can share the blog post about our assessment for the Philip Foster Farm National HIstoric Site as an example.
